"Dont hate me cause I'm beautiful."

Keri Hilson recently released a new single called "Pretty Girl Rock" she explains that the full meaning of the song is not bragging about herself but letting everyone know that what she says in the song is the way all girls, women and everyone should feel about themselves.

Personally, I think she should’ve emphasized what she means by "pretty"... on the outside, inside, both? As a very wise woman told me... if you’re ugly on the inside then your ugly on the outside. Good ol’ Granny.

Here’s what "Ms.KeriBabyyy" had to say about the songs topic...

“Pretty Girl Rock” is produced by Ne-Yo and Chuck Harmony… It’s not really as vain as it sounds, although I do feel those things about myself. I really want people to take away how they should feel about themselves. You should feel like you’re the baddest B in the room when you walk in the room or that you are beautiful despite what society says. You’re under heavy scrutiny, your twitter profile and your myspace pictures and facebook and this that and the other, let alone walking in a room, you know how insecure that can be sometimes. I want everyone to listen to that record, from little girls to women, and just feel like they can do the pretty girl rock and they can sing “don’t hate me cause I’m beautiful” cause we all are. -source
